Attention-Seekers That Were Called Out on Social Media

Any new information or scandal about a celebrity goes immediately throughout the media. The paparazzi are always ready to catch celebrities’ movements; the problem is when a media channel publishes a lie about someone’s life to get attention. In this case, the publisher got caught after a fake post about Chris O’Dowd. The person who found the false news was O’Dowd himself.

This Irish publisher took the advantage that actor Chris O’Dowd is also Irish and publicized a lie about him. According to them, the actor apparently wants to play solely Irish roles since he is sick of playing American ones. It could be real information, but unfortunately for the media channel, O’Dowd found the post and told us he never said that. Well done, Chris!
