#10: Need for Speed
This next one intrigues and baffles me a little—is the person saying that because the leftmost lane in America is usually the “fast lane,” someone who wants to go above the speed limit should move over there and leave the right lane for people going the speed limit or under?

Because that is a terrible idea. As someone who habitually uses the fast lane, let me assure you that we are not going 5 mph over the speed limit. We are going 10 to 15 over the speed limit, unless it’s a stretch of road where we feel confident there are no cops, in which case we’re seeing if our cars can exceed three digits. So, yeah, 5 over the speed limit still belongs in the slow lane.
