#31: Check, Please
I’m glad I don’t work in the service industry; it seems like one of those things where no matter what you do, someone is going to be mad at you. For instance, look at this post below, where someone is annoyed at the tendency, especially prevalent at American restaurants, for waiters to constantly check on you and bring you your check without being asked.

However, if waiters decided to stay away from tables in order to please this person, they would inevitably get customers who are irritated that the waiter didn’t check in to see if they needed anything and that they had to wait a long time for their check. There’s just no way to win with some people.
