Coming out can be stressful, no doubt. Having no idea how people will react or if they will accept who you are is worrisome, which is why some people simply keep their sexuality to themselves. It’s up to the person whether or not they want to express their sexuality in the workplace, and their decision should be respected.

It’s always nice to have a supportive team who has your back, but this boss might’ve taken that to an extreme. Having a secret meeting to talk about someone’s sexual preferences is definitely crossing a line. Everyone else in the office already knew, aside from the boss. So much for seeing over everything.
