Celebrity Prom Photos That Are Beyond Adorable

Most widely known for playing Monica Gellar in the popular sitcom Friends as well as having a starring role in the sitcom Cougar Town, actress Courtney Cox has maintained fame for decades. It’s hard to imagine that there was a time before she was a household name–but this photo is proof she was once an awkward high school student, just like the rest of us.

This photo, taken in 1980, shows Cox with a huge bouquet on one arm and her handsome date on the other. This 40-year-old picture definitely bears a resemblance to Courtney Cox, but it’s easy to say that time (and plastic surgery) can change a person’s appearance quite a bit. Either way, we like both versions of her.
