#12: Brees Breaks Records
There seems to be a record for just about everything in football, college or otherwise. Quarterback Drew Brees set a bunch of Big Ten Conference records when he played for Purdue University. Among the records for completions and yards is a specific record for the highest number of attempted passes in a game.
Brees had 83 attempted passes in one game. That’s probably way more than you were expecting, right? It’s no wonder that number set a new record! The game was against the Wisconsin Badgers in 1998. Thankfully, his attempted passes weren’t all for naught. Purdue ended up winning that particular game against Wisconsin. Go, Boilermakers!
