Ah, Los Angeles, the City of Angels, La-La Land, Tinseltown. Whether you love it or hate it, most people can agree that L.A. is a world unto itself. Los Angeles is a pretty unique city filled with all different kinds of people. It’s a sprawling city, yet it succeeds in having its own culture that you can’t find anywhere else in the country. You can also overhear really interesting and uniquely L.A.-type conversations whenever you’re out and about. It’s okay to admit to eavesdropping – we all do it! How can someone resist not listening in when there are people talking about making kombucha, being an extra on a TV set, or how rich their TikTok-famous kid is? These people couldn’t help but share some of the most outlandish, outrageous, and hilarious conversations overheard in L.A. recently, and we’re here to enjoy it.
Keep It To Yourself
LA is known for a lot of things, for example, that it’s not a very friendly place. It’s a huge city, and depending on where you live it can lack the friendliness often found in the Midwest. Most people like it that way, though, and it’s kind of weird when strangers try to talk to you. This conversation at a coffee shop was a firsthand experience of that LA attitude.
This person asked to share a table, and the man already sitting there said it was fine. When this stranger tried to start a conversation, however, they took it too far. This guy was pretty blunt and ended the conversation right then and there. We wish we could be that straightforward sometimes. To be fair, they only agreed to share the table, not make small talk!
