Gloria Hendry
Gloria Hendry, born in 1949, is an African-American actress best known for her role as Rosie Carver in the 1973 James Bond film Live and Let Die. Before her acting career, she worked as a Playboy Bunny in New York. Hendry made history as one of the early African-American Bond girls and broke barriers in the film industry.
She continued to act in various films throughout her career, including blaxploitation classics like Black Caesar and Hell Up in Harlem. Hendry’s work contributed to greater diversity in Hollywood during the 1970s, and she remains an important figure in the history of African-American cinema.
