Uncle Eddie Returns
Even if you don’t believe in ghosts, you must admit that sometimes things align too perfectly to be just a coincidence. This storyteller moved out of their hometown many years earlier but was still in touch with friends who kept them up-to-date on all the local gossip. When a new family moved into our storyteller’s childhood home, their friends had some tea to spill.
The family had a young kid, about five years old, who had an imaginary friend named Eddie. According to the preschooler, Eddie was only three years old and lived in the house with them. Our storyteller’s stomach dropped when they heard this piece of gossip. They had a great uncle who passed away in that very same house many years ago. Yup, his name was Edward, and he was three when he died.
