#8: Don’t Cry Over Spilled Dinner
This is another great lesson learned the hard way. You have to make sure the table you’re using to serve up the food can hold everything and that you aren’t overloading one side of it, or else it will tip over just like this one did. I own three of those tables for a reason.

All three get used so that I don’t risk just one having to hold five heavy dishes. They left everything in the crockpots, too! Usually, that wouldn’t be a problem, but those things are hefty! If they’d used aluminum containers, this disaster might have been avoided.
