Older siblings are meant to protect you and teach you new things. They are supposed to guide you and help you by imparting some of their knowledge and life experience. They’re also supposed to help you deal with your parents – as they have had to deal with the exact same situations before you. In that sense, having older siblings is great.
It’s not so great when they decide to teach you things you aren’t ready to learn. This sister thought that her 10-year-old brother was too old to still believe in Santa Claus, and she took matters into her own hands. Maybe it wasn’t intentional, and she just couldn’t contain her surprise when she realized he still believed in Santa, and maybe she thought it was time he knew the truth.
