Statistically Unlikely Events That Happened to Everyday People

Another one for the hitting a bird category, which is fast becoming one of my favorites. And this one has the added advantage of a big-name celebrity to give it that extra kick of excitement. And to top it all off, this shocking event must have been witnessed by thousands of people.

I’m normally not a huge fan of animal cruelty, but I just wish I had been able to sit there in those stands and watch Randy Johnson completely smack the living daylights out of that bird. I guess maybe we haven’t really progressed so far from the days of gladiator sports.
