Statistically Unlikely Events That Happened to Everyday People

There are many achievements that we can’t quite tell whether they are more a matter of luck or more a matter of skill. Sometimes, even for those of us who are the most skilled at something, a good dose of luck is needed in order to reach the most special achievements.

This pen thrower might have been already performing at an olympic level, or it may have just been one lucky throw. The only thing not clear to me here is why they were throwing the pen at the closed door in the first place. If it hadn’t gone under, this would’ve been a really boring story.
