Leonardo DiCaprio suffered a small injury while filming Django Unchained, but he didn’t let that stop him from acting like a total boss. In the scene where Calvin Candie smashes his hand on the dinner table, Leo ends up accidentally smashing a glass in the process. His hand got cut and started to bleed, but he kept going with the scene.

Leo ignored the pain and blood, ending up with a great cut of the scene. Director Quentin Tarantino was so impressed that he used that take in the final cut of the movie (no pun intended). Quentin wasn’t the only one impressed on set. When the take was over, everyone in the room gave Leo a standing ovation.
