“It’s as Backawards as Can Be”: Things in American Culture That Make No Sense to the Rest of the World

The United States really does have it all. This country has some of the most prestigious colleges and universities in the world. On top of that, many brilliant minds have innovated, invented, and researched within our borders. But, it is a truth universally acknowledged that one cannot exist without the other.

While the US can lay claim to some brilliant minds, we also have to admit that some of the wildest, dumbest people call the United States of America their home. It’s not that they’re uneducated. Some people just enjoy being ignorant and stupid, apparently. At least there’s never a dull moment here in the US of A.
