#3: The Real Moqui Cave in Utah
Moqui Cave in southern Utah might dazzle online, but it’s different in person. Once an Anasazi food storage, later a 1920s speakeasy, it became a museum and tavern in the 1950s by the Chamberlains. Now, it’s a mild tourist spot.
The Chamberlains hyped Moqui Cave’s history for their enterprise, blending truth with fiction. Despite more accurate historical insights and an array of regional artifacts today, Moqui Cave remains a quaint, if somewhat understated, point of interest in Utah.
